CENTER REPORT
One more time, our friends have come through for the Center. The people at· After Midnight, management and staff, gave us an entire Friday night door, lo pay another month's rent. Such friends are good to have, I guess.
All kinds of good things should be happening for the women's collective. There will be meetings this month, to plan. structures for Monday night rap groups, among other things. The collective has been contacted by & number of straight organizations, and are preparing to send speakers out, on an educational trip. (Arrangements are being made for a men's auxiliary, too.) Also, if anyone is interested in getting into a black women's rap group, give the hotline a call, on a Monday night.
Rowe Davidson, buh-less his heart, I wish I could tell you about him... he's gonna do this trip to faggot heaven of-thenorth, Toronto. That's gonna be the week-end of October seven through nine. It'll leave from the Center by car: figure $10 for transportation, $25 for two nights in a double occupancy room, at a hotel. Again, call the hotline, give 'em your name, telephone number, the number in your party, and whether you
can drive, all that by September

23. And Rowe says that the CALENDAR
canoe trip over Labor Day was a big splash.
Well, ol' Chuck Mosberger is in here again, and Jim Kozman, too. Chuck designed a logo for the Center, a really nice one, and Jim Kozman has gotten. It onto a spiffy T-shirt. You can get it in peach, blue and tan; and it's $6. part. of which goes to The Center. They look good. One more time, call the hot-line.
The last issue of this paper carried a little something extra from me. (Stop snickering). Í stuck in a review of an Erotic Art Show (capitol letters!) at the Kent State gallery. Sure it was kind of a puff piece for a couple of friends. Unfortunately, some staff person lost an entire typewritten page of it, omitting any mention of my friends. That's sloppy, and a disappointment. Besides the fact that they were my friends, they organized the thing, had the most uniformly high quality stuff there and were
the only outwardly gay voices in
it. So Duane Perolio and
Michael Milligan get their names
in here, this poor second . cousin of-a-camp-follower's column, instead.
